Brothers and Sisters

The “Brothers and Sisters” was officially formed in 2022 when “old” friends and music lovers, the Smilek sisters from Waterloo, ON and the Corry Boys from Red Deer, AB joined forces, performing in various locales across Canada.

The two families had met several years ago at the both the Leahy Music Camp, and the Southwestern Ontario Fiddle and Stepdance Championships in Ontario and have played together and competed with each other over the years.

They have become “siblings from different parents”.

These talented multi-instrument musicians have broad musical interests and their flexibility allows them to cover diverse musical styles including old-time fiddle, gospel, country, celtic, bluegrass, country and folk.

Presently they are touring, teaching pattern dance and square dance workshops in Ontario and Alberta and performing old time fiddle music and gospel & country music concerts.
